Yoga - Ayurveda - Essential Oils

When I discovered yoga, it turned my life upside down. From my first Hatha class 10 years ago to now, I have experienced first hand the mental and physical benefits of yoga in my everyday life: more stamina, the ability to deal with difficult situations without letting negative emotions take over, and the pure bliss of learning how to appreciate life's small pleasures and joys.

For me, yoga is surely about reducing stress and back pain, but it is also about incorporating more mindfulness, love, and compassion into all aspects of daily life through pranayama, mudras, mantras, and the philosophy of yoga as well as the asanas.

During my teacher training at Laughing Lotus in NYC in 2017, I was introduced to Ayurveda by the wonderful Ali Cramer. All of a sudden, it felt like all the pieces of the puzzle were coming together to create a harmonious understanding of my physiology and psychology, and more importantly, ways and solutions to help me come back to a state of balance. I decided to dive deep into the study of Ayurvedic modalities under the guidance of Kathryn Templeton, Sarah Guglielmi and Kara Aubin and the philosophy carried forth by the Himalayn Institute.

In addition to these two modalities, I have been using and researching essential oils since I was 15… They are exceptional natural allies to support us all day and every day, on a physical and emotional level. I am grateful for my teachers, Brandi Ryans and Jade Shutes, and their holistic and spiritual approach to the use of oils.

  • Alignment and Therapeutics 25 hrs - with Ali Cramer, Sheri Celentano and Deborah Langley

  • Yoga Anatomy 20 hrs - with Tiffany Cruikshank
